"G. I. Journal" Radio Show Transcription Disc Produced By The Armed Forces Radio Service.  One Complete 30 Minute Radio Program On This 16 Inch, Vinyl, 33 1/3 rpm Disc.  This disc was issued to radio stations for broadcast only and not available to the general public, Very Rare!

"G. I. Journal" radio program #145 from circa 1945 starring George Murphy (editor and chief), Jimmy Durante, Diana Lewis, Cass Daley, Bea Benaderet, Alvino Rey & The Armed  Forces Radio Service Orchestra

Jimmy Durante expresses interest in getting married, and asks George Murphy for advice with women.  George Murphy & Diana Lewis ultimately go out on a double date with Jimmy Durante & Cass Daley.  Very funny skit!

Songs include "On The Atcheson Topeka & The Sante Fe" vocal Town Criers, "Please Don't Squeeze The Bananas" vocal Town Criers, "Stuff Like Dat Dere" vocal Cass Daley

Program was meant to be broadcast to servicemen overseas, Excellent World War Two Era nostalgic broadcast!   Program is complete and 30 minutes
