JOE BATAAN: FANIA Records LP-345 (Mfd in NYC in the mid 60's) SUBWAY JOE - Songs are: SUBWAY JOE (Boogaloo), JUANITO (Guaguanco), MUJER MIA (Bolero-Cha-Cha), NUEVO JALA JALA (Jala Jala), SPECIAL GIRL (Boogaloo), PONTE EN ALGO (Descargo), TRISTE (Bolero Cha-Cha), MAGIC ROSE (Boogaloo). One of the most high prized NYC Boogaloo Latino albums of the 60's. This one's in unbelievable condition. The cover is still shrink-wrapped and like NEW! The paper is fresh and clean and white--no shelfwear, no yellowing, no bends--the only blemish is a very small bottom corner ding--otherwise it looks like it just came off the press. The vinyl record (Hi-Fi) is also in beautiful condition. One side looks new. The other side has several very small and extremely light scuffs; they are silent, of course. That side looks VG+++/almost new. Both sides play brand NEW with that Deep, Rich Hi-FI sound that you can find on these original pressings. It's almost CD quality. One MAGNIFICENT album. I don't think you will ever find a better copy.
