Extreme rare Decca test pressing of the LP by Joe Brown.

This particular copy is an official Decca test pressing, featuring their standard "Factory Sample NOT FOR SALE" label with details of the record hand written on the label, also included are a plain white card sleeve and inner. This particular test pressing is two single sided LPs which make up the content of the whole commercially issued single record - see photo.

Professionally cleaned on my Moth record cleaning machine and then put in a fresh new poly-lined inner sleeve (original inner has been retained to keep it all original - see photo).


CONDITION:

VINYL  =  EX- (PLAYS BETTER) (No deep scratches, groove damage, excessive surface noise, distortion, etc. Light spindle trails on the label suggests that this LP has had fairly light use. Looking at the vinyl under a bright grading lamp reveals a few light surface marks/paper scuffs, but they do not correspond to any audible defects. I've got to give it an "EX-" grading based on visual condition, but based on playback alone it would have been straight "EXCELLENT" grading. Plays strong and clean, without interuptions from clicks, distortion or pronounced surface noise, etc.

Note: for the purposes of this listing I have tested this LP on my Linn LP12 Sondek turntable - generally this is quite a critical test, but I must point out that I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable - common sense for most... but then this is ebay!!!)


SLEEVE, ETC = EX- (Both the sleeve, inner and labels are all in pretty good condition. All have details of the record hand written on them as part of the test pressing process. The sleeves have also yellowed quite a bit - see photos for more info)
