TODAY (2/18) I HAVE PURCHASED ONE OF THE BEST VINYL COLLECTIONS I'VE EVER ACQUIRED - IT BELONGED TO A MAN WHO WORKED IN PROMOTION FOR ATLANTIC RECORDS IN LOS ANGELES FOR 20 YEARS FROM THE LATE 1960S THROUGH THE 1980s - THE COLLECTION CONTAINS ALL SORTS OF PROMOS, PROMO ONLY ITEMS, SEALED LPs, PICTURE DISCS, TEST PRESSINGS, AND AUDIOPHILE PRESSINGS - I'LL BE LISTING TWO ITEMS A DAY FROM THIS COLLECTION FOR A LONG TIME - KEEP WATCHING MY AUCTIONS FOR SOME OF THE BEST ROCK ITEMS I'VE EVER OFFERED!

This is an ORIGINAL 1959 UNITED ARTISTS RECORDS U.S. WHITE LABEL PROMO ISSUE of the LP titled 'That Holler Guy!'', featuring toastmaster comedy from former St. Louis Cardinals catcher and longtime baseball announcer Joe Garagiola. It is United Artists Records U.S. catalog number UAL-3032, white label promo copy with a rubber stamp at the top of the back cover also denoting a promo copy.

Front cover has a beautiful color picture taken in St. Petersburg, Florida during spring training 1959 showing Joe Garagiola with Mickey Mantle, Stan Musial, Yogi Berra, and Ken Boyer.  Back cover has testimonials to Joe Garagiola from Yogi Berra, Leo Durocher, Gil Hodges, Stan Musial, Toots Shor, and Casey Stengel, along with their black and white photos.

Condition of record is a real nice EX with just a couple of very light barely visible surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play. Condition of cover is VG+ with the main flaw being some small areas along the right hand open edge where the top layer of paper is worn away. Cover also has a couple of small wrinkles, some ring and contact wear, and some general wear along the edges and on the corners. Cover has no water damage, splits (top layer of paper is split at the corners but the cover itself is not split), tears, writing, or stickers. This white label promo LP would be a choice addition to any baseball memorabilia or baseball-related record collection! Media mail postage within the U.S. is $4.00.
