JOE MCPHEE Black Magic Man Orig 1975 LP HAT HUT Rare!
Killer copy of this original early side from saxophonist Joe McPhee, here playing with his massive early group featuring Tyrone Crabb, Mike Kull, Ernest Bostic and Bruce Thompson. Recorded live in 1970 in NY, this is some of McPhee’s greatest high energy underground jazz recordings. Packaged in the usual OTT style of early Hat Hut with a fold out textured art paper sleeve featuring various visuals, the corner has taken a very slight amount of creasing, due to the soft nature of the card but it’s really Ex++/vinyl Ex++.
