Description
JOE PASS's "Jazz Guitar Clinic Live" released only in JAPAN on PABLO LIVE (50MJ 3531) in 1985, is according to the late legendary Producer/Pablo (& many other great Jazz labels through the years) Owner, Norman Granz, the rarest Pablo album ever released. It is as the title implies an actual guitar clinic hosted by Pass on 2 LPs with a 28 page booklet written and notated by Pass. The booklet (Scan 5 has bottom part of front cover) has lengthy commentary by Pass on each track which is in English and Japanese. The Gatefold Cover has the picture of Pass in Scan 4 along with a larger pic of just his hand position on his guitar. See Scan 2 for songtitles and Scan 3 for musican and production info.
The Records are in NEAR MINT PLUS condition and appear to have been played rarely if ever with No spindle marks on the Red/White labels and not a mark or scratch on the 4 Sides of clean, glossy vinyl.
The Gatefold Cover is in NEAR MINT MINUS condition and has been kept in a heavy plastic outer, with all seams fully intact, 3 corners sharp (slight wear bottom right) while the upper right shows the effect of a bump with wrinkles, and the front and back showing Next-To-No wear.
