Description

"Victory Parade Of Spotlight Bands" Radio Show Transcription Disc recorded by Don Lee Productions.  Part 1, the first approximately 15 minutes of a 25 or 30 minute radio program on this 16 inch, one sided, black lacquer acetate coated aluminum, 33 1/3 rpm disc. This disc was recorded for reference purposes only and not available to the general public, very rare!

This disc contains the first approximately 15 minutes of the "Victory Parade Of Spotlight Bands" radio program from December 5, 1945 featuring Joe Reichman & His Orchestra performing live for the troops of the Army Air Force Gunnery School in Las Vegas, NV

Songs include "On The Atcheson Topeka & The Santa Fe", "It Might As Well Be Spring", "I'll Be Walking With My Honey" vocal Eddie Singer, "If I Loved You", "Into The Night"

Program is sponsored by Coca Cola with commercials

Disc is in very good condition with many scratches.  Sounds better than it's condition, sound varies from Very Good or better to Excellent-.  Plays with no skips

Please note that most standard turntables will not play 16 inch radio transcriptions due to their size.  I will make a CD copy of the disc for the buyer only

U. S. Buyer pays $8.00 Media Mail Shipping
