I'm happy to sell a holy grale. I've got the vinyl set from the original owner who got this item at the time it was released (and I paid a lot for it). Unfortunately the LPs were not properly stored (without inner sleeves) but not too often played. I cleaned every side about three times with my Moth vacuum record cleaning machine. In case the LPs will be cleaned with an ultra sonic record cleaning machine there's the chance the playback will get better (but we maybe have to let run the machine an hour or so / side). All items are visual and audio graded (see below for details) with my Denon DP47-F turn table (a good diamond but I don't know the brand anymore) and a Telefunken RA200 amp.
I try to describe the playback as accurate as possible, even when I write VG it doesn't mean that the item has deep scratches and it's far away from beeing trashed quality! I don't want to disappoint my customer of this rare vinyl set. I have played the entire first three sides and partialy played the other following up three sides (carfully). I only sell this LP to someone with at least five feedbacks and of a good reputation.
JOHANNA MARTZY - BACH: THE UNACCOMPANIED VIOLIN SUITES - VOL 1, VOL 2, VOL 3 - ORIGINAL UK 1ST ED
VOL 1:
- Cover: EX(+) shape
- Vinyl: Side 1: Virtualy EX // Play Graded = VG+: The violin sounds clear with no distorion at all but with some low to medium groove noise (crackling) and a few soft tics, Stamper XAX 731-1N (I have played the whole side).
- Vinyl: Side 2: Virtualy EX // Play Graded = VG: Same playback as side one but a little bit less (no loud pops etc... clear violin sounds with no distortion!), Stamper XAX 744-1N
Vol 2:
- Cover: EX-
- Vinyl: Side 1: Virtualy EX+ // Play Graded = EX with a few VG++ passages (clear violin sounds with no distortion), STamper: XAX 732-1N
- Vinyl: Side 2: Virtualy EX // Play Garded = VG++ (clear violin sounds with no distortion), Stamper: XAX 615-3N
Vol 3:
- Cover: EX+
- Vinyl: Side 1: Virtualy VG++ // Play garded = VG to VG+ with groove noise (crackling) and some tics (clear violin sounds with no distortion), STampers: XAX 914-3N
- Vinyl: Side 2: Virtualy VG+ (a few light needle marks, no bad scratches) // Play graded = same as side 1 of Vol 3 (clear violin sounds with no distortion, STampers XAX 764-1N
Mint: Vinyl and cover are in 100 % perfect condition.
M-: Vinyl and cover are “as new” (maybe vinyl has 1 – 3 ultra light hairlines which are only detectable under a very bright light and do not affect!!!, maybe virtually perfect).
EX+: Vinyl and cover are almost “as new”, cover appears in great shape – vinyl plays perfect (vinyl has maybe a few hairlines from removing the vinyl out of the inner-sleeve) – great collector’s copy!!
EX: Vinyl has some hairlines or is optically not as EX+ with maybe a light scuff but no scratches, vinyl should play very well to perfect with no pops etc. just virtually (under the halogen bulb!) not mint. Cover has light wear, appears still nice.
VG++: The vinyl has an amount of hairlines and/or some light scratches without deep-marks. If it’s a “loud” record it will still sound almost mint…. A still acceptable shape which does fit well for DJ use and home-listening. The cover has maybe a price tag, small splits or ring-wear… it’s still ok but a little used.
VG+. The vinyl has maybe an amount of hairlines and/or some light-scratches or a few not too long and not very deep needle-scratches… will maybe play with some crackling in lower parts and/or with some pops could. Cover has combination of price-tag, some writing, ring-wear or another one. Used condition.
VG: The vinyl is very used with many scratches as well as deep-marks, very used condition. Cover has maybe complete top and bottom-seam-split. Only worth to buy if really rare….
