Box Set complete with :
- Record in Gatefold Sleeve,
- Wedding Certificate glued to inside of box lid,
-16 page 'The Press' Booklet containing clippings of newspaper reports surrounding the event,
-Fold-Out 'The Wedding' Poster, Gatefold Poster of cartoons by Yoko and John ('69),
-Postcard,
-Passport Photos,
-Picture of Wedding Cake and,
- Two-Sided Insert in Japanese with English sub-titles of Track Information.
This item came to me from a reliable source who was given it many years ago. They assure me it has never been played and judging by an inspection of the item, I am inclined to agree. The playing surfaces of the record are spotless, all the inserts are in 'as new' condition, the box itself is undamaged, and the whole thing has been stored in a cellophane sleeve which I assume was its original protection.
To receive an iconic collectors item like this in this condition is truly mind-blowing. I cannot praise the condition highly enough. Bidders, please note that this is the Japanese version of the album. The contents of the record itself and all inserts are similar to the UK Apple release but also included is a Japanese language version of the insert.
