Description
John Dummer's Famous Music Band - same titled 1970 LP on the black / silver Fontana label.
Catalogue Number is 6309 008.
Matrix run outs on the end wax are 1Y 1 42011 and 2Y 1 42011 although there are a couple of triangle and other intervening marks (I'm afraid that I am no expert on these!).
Condition is very nice - gatefold cover is really clean with just a couple of handling impressions (light) to the inside.
Record has a good sheen and there are only a few tracking marks around the label centre hole. Vinyl itself has likewise only a few faint marks visible in strong light. Exceptions are two very small marks at the end of track 4 and beginning of track 5 on side 1. These are mm only and superficial - did not produce any background noise when I played the record.
In fact apart from being a little more pronounced during the intros of each side there is mainly no or at worst very minimal surface noise.
Record comes in what I think is the original 'Plastic Bags Can Be Dangerous' inner sleeve. This has darkened around the edges but is still fully serviceable.
I would therefore grade the record as EX for the cover and VG++ for the record itself (due to the two the two small marks).
I have not sold records on eBay for a good while but my previous feedback ratings do I believe show me to be a reliable seller. I intend to list perhaps half a dozen records from my own collection (I know that everybody says this!) as it seems the right time to perhaps get back into it again. Due to the current situation I only wish to sell within the UK - apologies to anyone abroad who might have been interested.
