Cover: No stains, creases, puncture holes, tape, water damage, cut-out marks, stickers or price tags. Nice rich color & sharp print. Spine print is fully readable. Nice flat cover free of ripples, bends, air bubbles or waves. Quarter-inch seam split at opening on top edge. Just a hint of ring wear. Some light rubbing & scuffing on front & back & some light edge wear. Moderate corner banging. Label looks very good with a faint scratch in paper & some faint transparent spindle brushings.
Disc: Very nice reflective sheen on platter surface. Handful of tiny dimples & pits . Light scratch across the first song & half of the second song on side A. Otherwise, some very minor scuffs & faint "touch marks" here & there.
Both the record & the cover are in very fine condition. Indeed, the front cover looks mint! Original silver & blue Deep Groove King label. "Slim's Stomp," "Stomp Boogie" & "Devil's Jump" are among these 16 excellent blues numbers. Album concludes with "Race Track." Recorded in the original mono. The disc itself is in really fine condition. The bright & glossy front cover is nice to look at & has no major blemishes. And the back cover looks nice, as well. Our copy came from the original owner, who took very good care of these albums. We will be listing more great blues rarities from this collection shortly. Very fine reflective sheen on the grooves. Pressed on a thick heavy slab of wax with sturdy, high-quality cover. (Etched matrix "K-12-727-B-1").
