Description
About This Record. This is an original USA copy of John Lee Hooker's LP entitled "House of the Blues" that was released on Chess Records on the coveted Black Chess label. A very small pressing of black labels came out on this and the other early Chess Records, many of which I have for sale along with my other blues 45rpms and LPs.
Cover: Very Good Minus (VG-), The bottom seam is 2/3 split from opening edge; the top seam has a two inch tear in the middle; front and back cover present cleanly with light age wear. See photos.
Insert: N/A.
Vinyl: Excellent Minus (EX-). Some minor age blemishes and light paper marks from the paper sleeve that don't affect play. A keeper copy for sure as these things go.
Labels: Excellent (EX); light spindle marks around center hole. See photos.
Shipping: All my records come carefully packed after I clean them on my KL Audio Ultrasonic Record Cleaning Machine and place them in a new rice-paper sleeve equivalent so they will be ready for you to play.
