JOHN LENNON MOTHER / WHY UNDOCUMENTED VERSION
Even PERRY COX has not seen this version!!!!!
This is the "MOTHER LODE"!!! A 1st issue 1970 version that Perry says is "cool" and that he has never seen before! He values this record between $100.00 & $200.00 because neither side sports the "MFD BY APPLE" in the rim print at the bottom of the APPLE!!!!! These labels are not documented after 44 years and therefore so scarce the value is way beyond the top $20.00 he puts down in his book on page 190. (see last photo) The vinyl on the MOTHER side looks near mint but it has a quick jump. Instead of saying "Soooooo I" it goes "So I". The sliced side plays just fine! Check out the conversation between Perry and I. (I have covered his email address to protect privacy.) The 1st email he asks for pictures and the next two photos are the pictures Mr. Cox was sent to study!
The proof is in the labels! This is a display piece not a play piece. Even Perry has never seen one, owned one or held one! One of a kind, maybe not but where is another one??? I have added a picture sleeve to dress up the display! This sleeve is not authentic but a fake out! I repeat the sleeve is not real but it is real nice. No seam splits, writing, etc. It can hold the super rare vinyl or keep the record in the plain white sleeve that I will send with it. This also has a protective plastic sleeve. Because of the jump the starting price will be half of Perry's low end estimate. Fast shipping!
