JOHN LENNON AND YOKO ONO Unfinished Music No.1: Two Virgins (Apple Sapcor 2/Track 613012) RARE UK 1st Pressing MINT!
RARE very first UK pressing of John Lennon and Yoko Ono`s "Unfinished Music No.1: Two Virgins", released on Apple/Track Records (November 1968). Only a limited number of UK copies of "Two Virgins" were ever pressed: This is one of those 5000.
In very close to perfect condition, this copy comes from a high-quality, first-owner collection we recently acquired.
"It`s saying whatever you want it to say. It is just us expressing ourselves like a child does, you know, however he feels like then. What we're saying is make your own music." - John Lennon, 1968.
"Not unlike what you might get if you turned on a tape recorder for a random half-hour in your home." - William Ruhlmann, allmusic.com
"Why don't you use Paul instead? He's much better looking." - Joseph Lockwood, Chairman of EMI (UK).

- The record was bought in 1969 and was stored away soon after purchase. It has been played two or three times.
- Apart from a two or three near-invisible paper scuffs, the record shows no signs of previous play whatsoever.
- Original UK first pressing combined Apple/Track Records labels with the "Sold in U.K. subject to resale price conditions" affix.
- The Apple/Track Records labels have a single, near-invisible spindle line on each label.

- This record is hereby fully certified to be an original, very first UK pressing of "Unfinished Music No.1: Two Virgins", released in November 1968.
