To support Record Store Day on April 17, 2010, EMI Music released the limited-edition John Lennon Singles Bag. The set comes enclosed in an individually numbered Kraftpak envelope with button and string closure. It is comprised of a custom and dated 45 RPM plastic adaptor hub; a 24” x 36” poster; three 45 RPM vinyl singles with replicated original artwork; and three postcards with artwork collaborative to the coinciding singles. There were 7,000 manufactured.
The sound quality is wonderful, and the song selection poignant. These songs capture John Lennon’s first person observational best.
