This is the original UK LP by JOHN MARTYN, SOLID AIR, 1973 1st Press on the ISLAND Pink Rim label ILPS 9226

Matrix numbers are,  Side A:-   ILPS 9226 A-1U

                                  Side B:-   ILPS 9226 B-1U

Stamper codes are,  Side A:-   1 / R

                                Side B:-     1 / G

Both Matrix numbers and Stamper codes indentify this as a very early 1st Pressing

                                   The original 1973 UK 1st issue matt finished MacNeill Press Ltd gatefold cover is in VG+++ condition. The spine is clean and readable, showing mild wear. The corners show some wear, their is no unwanted writing, no seam splits. The cover maintains all it's original bright vibrant colour, inside is lovely, clean and bright.

The vinyl is in MINT- condition !. The vinyl is gleams with all its original factory fresh shine and lustre!. The vinyl plays EX+++ playing with superb clarity, playing with superb depth and warmth!. Only a hint of light crackle on the 1st 2 tracks, otherwise plays MINT- .

The labels are in MINT- condition, beautifully clean and fresh, no unwanted writing, no scuffs, the centre spindle hole shows little or no wear.

The original 1973 1st issue polythene lined turquoise ISLAND inner sleeve is in EX+++ condition, clean, no seam splits, no unwanted writing.
