- John Ylvisaker: A Love Song.
- Avant Garde Records AV 112, stereo, 1968, made in USA
- Full on psych / garage lounge / crooner with the fantastic "The Old and the New" and the psychedelic "Noise of the Solemn Assemblies", among other gems. Has Dick Hyman, of all people, on piano, organ, and celeste. The band sound is similar to Bob Dylan's late 60s sound, and the musicians here are solid. This is one of the strangest mixes of blues, jazz, psychedelia, and Jesus Freak I've come across.
- Cover is still in the original shrink with price in pen on back (on shrink, not on cover). There's a little wear on the open edge, but no splits, chips, or markings.
- Vinyl plays EX- with occasional light noise, nothing major at all. The sound is good and clear.
- Vinyl has been professionally cleaned with an AudioDesk ultra-sonic cleaning unit.
Unless sealed, all individual records are shipped with the record outside the cover to avoid damage.
