Description

Here we have an original stereo 45 by Johnny And The Hurricanes "Red River Rock" / "Buckeye" on Warwick 509ST from 1959. Record companies experimented with the stereo single format from 1958 to 1961 and it was a total failure. They are the exception rather then the rule. Most copies were used for jukeboxes and were played out. This copy faired a bit better as it is in VG condition with clean labels. There is a small edge crack that barely goes into the grooves. "Red River Rock" went on to become a rock and roll classic, and is a staple of oldies radio. Believe me, I tried hard to upgrade this copy, but this is the only copy I have ever seen!
