Description
This is a nice lot of six original 1950s and very early 1960s Johnny Cash LP's on the Sun label that I am offering for one price!! These are all first, mono pressings; all are pressed on thick/heavy vinyl and all have the 'deep groove/Microgroove' labels. The covers are all in very sharp VG+ (or even better!!) condition and some still have their original factory plastic/shrink wrapping intact!! Any more noteworthy flaws with the covers will be mentioned below. The vinyls, on the other hand, are all in average/used condition with predictable signs of handling and play-wear from over the years. Some obviously look a little better than others, but I would not grade any of them higher than fair to good condition at best. Some of these vinyls would likely benefit from a gentle cleaning. These should all play OK though I have not played any of them myself and I cannot guarantee that they will all play without skipping, surface noise, etc. This would be a very decent lot for someone looking to upgrade their covers, as the vinyls are all basically just playable fillers... SLP-1235 "Johnny Cash Sings The Songs That Made Him Famous" cover still has its original factory plastic wrapping fully intact!! There are several small 'spots' of dried residue along the opening edge of both sides where old clear tape was placed by the original owner to prevent the plastic from coming off.
SLP-1240 "Johnny Cash Greatest!" there are two of this same record and cover.
SLP-1255 "Now Here's Johnny Cash" cover still has its original factory shrink wrapping fully intact!!
SLP-1270 "All Aboard The Blue Train With Johnny Cash" cover still has its original factory plastic wrapping fully intact!! I personally write all of my own descriptions, take all of my own photos, and package all items for mailing myself. I do not use text, photos or information from “other” sources and would certainly never do so without referencing them. Items pictured in any of my listings are always the actual items that buyers will receive from me.
Payment by PAYPAL ONLY....I do not accept any other form of payment. Unless the buyer makes a different arrangement with me (i.e. contacts me directly), payment is expected within three days (72 hours) from the closing date of the item. After three days, an unpaid item case will automatically be opened and the buyer then has four additional days to complete payment (per Ebay's terms).
I am always happy to offer COMBINED SHIPPING for ALL BUYERS for up to one week from the closing date of the initial purchase. Final payment is always expected WITHIN ONE WEEK FROM THE CLOSING DATE OF THE BUYER'S INITIAL PURCHASE. Please don't expect items to be held for more than one week while additional bids are placed. Please try to be considerate of this request when bidding on multiple items on different dates.
Buyer satisfaction and returns: I offer what I believe is a very reasonable return policy for all individual items (and smaller lots) that I sell. The item must be returned to me exactly as it was packaged and mailed to the buyer. I will refund the original sale price and shipping fee only; return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility. I do not give ‘partial’ refunds either (i.e. the buyer keeps the item for a lesser price). This policy applies to U.S. and non-U.S. buyers alike and regardless of the final sale price of the item. That being said, please ask any and all questions you may have before bidding.
