Description

Songs Of Our Soil.   Cover M-, Record M-.

From '59, this was Johnny's third Columbia album and I've noticed over the years that these early Columbia's are just as scarce as his Sun LPs.
This is an original mono issue on the 6-Eye label and here's an interesting note.  As I was listening, I came across the song "I Want To Go Home" and was surprised that it is the same song as "Sloop John B" recorded by the Beach Boys many years later.

Do ya like this kinda stuff?
