Batch of 6 rare AUSTRALIAN off-air recordings by JOHNNY DELANO singing various numbers as listed below: <p> 10" disc - Little scallywag/I can't begin to tell you [labels states: "Recorded from broadcast on 2KO - 11-4-1950] <p> 10" disc - Five feet two/Careless hands <p> 10" disc - The best things in life are free/Among my souvenirs <p> 10" disc - Dreamer's holiday/Don't get around much anymore <p> 12" disc - Lucky old sun/I don't see me in your eyes anymore <p> 12" disc - Lovely way to spend an evening/When you were sweet sixteen
<p> Rare Australian 78 rpm recordings in excellent (EX) condition --- very little wear or superficial marks (but some discs show signs of aging which does not affect play). <p> NOTE: These are very rare lacquer disc [acetate] containing unusual off-air recordings from about 1950 (only the first disc listed above gives a specific date of broadcast but all the discs were obviously produced at around the same time) --- condition is very good and better than average for this type of disc. All discs are in the original sleeves which state "2KO Radio Recording Division" so they are professional recordings not "home" recordings <p>
POSTAGE anywhere within Australia is $15 for the first record plus $2 for each additional record included in the same parcel. The postage cost is higher than usual because this is a 12 inch disc and requires a larger carton and more packing which increases the weight. I strongly advise that it would be safer and more economic to ship more than a single 12 inch record. Ask me for details... I will provide information about international shipping costs on request if you are outside Australia.
