Description
(For the last two months, I've been recycling records that already had been listed. This is partly due to the demise of my venerable camera and having to find and learn to operate a new one! And the Winter Blues. I will be listing all-new material from this point on.).
HERE are two sides from the last recording session by JOHNNY SYLVESTER AND HIS PLAYMATES, in April 1927: "MINE" and "WHEREVER YOU GO - WHATEVER YOU DO (I Want You to Know I Love You). A very peppy and on-point dance orchestra.
"Mine" features a glee-club-like vocal choir - quite sumptuous! - and eight bars of hot violin at the end, who sounds exactly like Joe Venuti!
This original 1927 "Electrobeam" Gennnett 6095 is in very sound & undamaged V++ condition.

These records come from my private collection, which I have been accumulating since 1967, and now am downsizing! My highest priority in these eBay auctions is to give you the best possible idea of a record’s true condition and aesthetic value. I always post at least four clear images, showing the record fore and aft, a close-up of the label, and the whole disc, warts and all. If my purple prose won’t cut it, the pictures will! Shipping is done with expert care. Your record will brave Media Mail in a stout corregated box, between four sheets of cardboard and a couple of “packers.” I hope you are amused by these descriptions, and by the quality of service being offered.
