A collector friend of mine told me this LP should be in a museum!

 

Early sixties LP.

 

SM vol.4 (Salon de Estudios Mozart, Santo Domingo RD)

 

Extremely rare, this is Johnny Ventura's 1st LP in it's homeland. Titled: SANTO DOMINGO Johnny Ventura y su Combo Caribe en la auténtica Agarradera.

 

In the credits/presentation it refers about presenting Johnny to the American Continent as a product of the "New Republic" (Santo Domingo after Trujillo) and how he will surely conquer fame. Although it was written over half-a-century ago, the same commentaries can be heard today about the then aspiring singer Johnny Ventura: a gentleman, friendly, jovious personality, hard-working individual.

 

Cover has white tape, some writing in bc, stains. Vinyl has some marks and scuffs and a signature in label. I haven't play it and it may reproduce with some audible noise. However, this is a very scarce LP in any condition. Please, notice the aforementioned flaws before bidding or buying.
