Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures.
A beautiful copy of their stunning debut album and a TRUE 1st pressing.
I've owned this record since the mid 1980s and swapped it for a copy of Computer World by Kraftwerk with a friend who purchased it on release in June 1979.
Ever since it's been kept in a protective sleeve and played a handful times as when CDs came out I bought a copy on CD and played that ever since.
The LP has all of the requirements needed to be classed as a first pressing from 1979 - textured sleeve, rounded inner corners, Garrod & Lofthouse credit on bottom right corner, Porky Prime Cut on the run out as well "S 3" on the matrix as my own memory of when my friend bought it! To be honest I thought it was dreadful when I first heard it in 1979 and it took me until the mid 80s to truly appreciate it hence the swap!

I have had quite a number of copies down through the years. You can rest assured, this is a true 1st pressing. Most aren't!
Please study the photos carefully as I always feel that they are a much better indicator of condition than any words. Considering the album is 45 years old it plays absolutely beautifully and I can't imagine it's been played more than a dozen times. A really superb copy that sounds today just as good as the day it was released.
I play test on a vintage Pioneer record player as well as a more modern Pro-ject one and the record sounds absolutely superb on both.
I clean all of my records with the Spin Clean system and then are finished off with a lint free cloth before being placed in ant-static sleeves.
