JOY DIVISION : UNKNOWN PLEASURES 1979 1st UK PRESSING ON FACTORY RECORDS Cat No. FACT 10
A nice original copy of this classic album which plays great. It has a textured outer sleeve and the vinyl is translucent red when held up to strong light. The printed inner sleeve is semi-glossy and has square corners.

CONDITION OF VINYL Firstly, the record plays exceedingly well. The only slight issue I heard was 4 faint clicks as the stylus passes over a small mark on side 2 where track 2 ends and track 3 begins (see the last photo above). The album doesn't appear to have been played too many times, and the only other signs of wear are a few very fine lines (finer than hairline). Labels are clean.
It does, however, have a slightly unusual appearance when examined closely. There are a number of what I will call speckles visible on both sides at certain angles to the light. These are not feelable and aren't actually a fault in the playing surface of the vinyl which would be picked up by the stylus. Rather they are a quirk of (or a fault in) the translucent nature of the pressing - noticeable but harmless. I have done my best to show these in the photos, so please examine them in close-up. Overall vinyl grade is VG+.
CONDITION OF COVER The textured outer sleeve is fully intact with no rips or pen marks, just some general wear and creasing from handling and storage. The same can be said for the printed inner sleeve, with also some slight discolouration - please see the photos. Overall sleeve grade is VG.
