Description

The soundtrack for the MGM musical, Summer Stock, starring Judy Garland and Gene Kelly, recorded in 1949, released in 1950. This is the original issue, on four 78 records in MGM album 56. Includes Garland's classic recordings of Get Happy, and If You Feel Like Singing, Sing. All four discs are in excellent condition, with some surface scuffs which do not affect the play. The whole thing plays near perfectly, and sounds loud, clear, and pretty much noiselessly. Really great copies. The cover has some minor shelfwear, mostly on the edges and corners, but is intact, untorn, and very nice looking. A lovely copy!
