Description

Up for auction is an original 1939 78 rpm 4-record set for the score of "THE WIZARD OF OZ" on DECCA RECORDS Album 74.   The 78 set is complete including the BOOKLET. The tracks include: OVER THE RAINBOW, THE JITTERBUG, MUNCHKINLAND PARTS I & II, IF I ONLY HAD A BRAIN(2 versions), THE MERRY OLD LAND OF OZ, and WE'RE OFF TO SEE THE WIZARD. The records are all in shiny EXCELLENT CONDITION with no cracks or chips, only a few light scuffs and clean labels. The album is also in VG+ condition with a 1/2" tear at the top of the spine and some age spots inside.  The spine is otherwise intact and print is still sharp(see photos). Overall, this is a very fine example of this Judy Garland/Oz rarity. We have alot of experience with 78's and this set will be carefully packed.
