This is Juicy Lucy's self titled debut album which was released in October 1969. The album was recorded at I.B.C Studios in London with production by Gerry Bron and Nigel Thomas. 'Juicy Lucy' reached 41 in the UK album charts and produced a hit single in with their version on Bo Diddley's 'Who Do You Love', which broke the UK Top 20 in 1970.
Centered around the unique gritty vocals of Ray Owen and the scorching riffs of Glenn Campbell, 'Juicy Lucy' is an album of raucous, heavy blues rock which is often played at break neck speed.
This album is now 43 years old and in fantastic condition!! Blues/Rock collectors would love to own one in this amazing condition! I've played it on my Pioneer PL 550-X, the sound is amazing! Plays with no distortion, crackle, jumps or clicks!!! The cover is in great condition, just some natural wear. The vinyl is in superb condition, a fantastic copy of Juicy Lucy's self titled debut album!!!
