THE VINYL:  NM : Seldom played, bright, glossy disc. This is the original pressing with the green microgroove label (see photo).

THE COVER:  NM : Bright, glossy front cover photo; no rips, tears or paper loss; seams intact; small amount of glue remnants likely from a former price sticker on the top left corner of the front; & a former price sticker on the top right corner of the back cover; original inner sleeve included (pictured with, among some other record album covers of the era, is this Julie London release); I have placed the disc in a plastic inner sleeve to better protect its pristine condition.

It would be difficult to find a copy of this debut release from the talented & beautiful Julie London in better condition. It has its own page on Wikipedia, & here is some of what it says,

"Julie Is Her Name was the first LP album by Julie London, released by Liberty Records in December, 1955, under catalog numbers LRP-3006, in monaural form. It was subsequently reprocessed to produce a stereophonic album, and this stereophonic version was released on May 25, 1960 as catalog number LST-7037. The album featured Barney Kessel on guitar and Ray Leatherwood on bass.

"The first track, "Cry Me a River", was released as a single (Liberty 55006) and was London's biggest chart success.[1]

"The album was reissued, combined with the 1958 Julie London album Julie Is Her Name, Volume II, in compact disc format, by EMI in 1992. Another reissue as a CD was produced by Hallmark Music, combined with the 1956 Julie London album, Lonely Girl."
