Here is a beautiful and MEGA RARE vintage record from my collection offered up for auction: A BLUE VINYL Julie London album "JULIE IS HER NAME" with Barney Kessel on guitar and Ray Leatherwood on Bass! The blue vinyl is STUNNING!!! This album was originally released in 1956, and this is an original special edition BLUE VINYL released in 1959 by Liberty LST 7027 STEREO. This record rates VG+, is glossy and clean, has a few very light marks, nothing heavy, still in great shape for a 59 year old! Has been PLAY TESTED, plays from start to finish with excellent sound quality! Audio clarity is clear and quiet, with a few errant pops, unobtrusive. No skips, no jumps! The black Liberty labels rate EX, clean, no signatures.The Cover rates EX, the portrait of Julie is clean and has beautiful color, bright white, all edges and corners are perfect, binder edge EX readable, no splits, no tape, would rate near mint except there is a tiny signature on the top front on the edge and small initials on the top back. The back cover is clean and bright. (see pics) Includes the original Liberty printed inner sleeve in EX shape. An absolutely BEAUTIFUL pressing! Will be shipped FREE (media rate) in a protective plastic sleeve inside a secure record mailing box with tracking number. The vinyl will be shipped in the sleeve outside the jacket to prevent splits.
