JUNE ARTHUR ALEXANDER UNPLAYED NORTHERN SOUL 45 ON JUDD

"SALLY SUE BROWN"/"THE GIRL THAT RADIATES" - LAST ONE!!

   An original unplayed pressing of the late, great Arthur Alexander's 1960 debut 45 (credited to "June" Alexander - short for "Junior"): "Sally Sue Brown"/"The Girl That Radiates That Charm" (Judd 1020).
   This 45 comes from the collection of its original owner who worked in music publishing in Atlanta (where Judd’s parent label NRC was located) in the 1960’s.  He received a number of copies of this 45 upon its release and claims never to have played any of them.  We have listed several over the last couple of years, and this is his last copy, so act now or miss out - there's no telling when another one will come up for auction!  Regardless of its previous owner never slapping it on a turntable, this 50 year-old 45 is very good plus due to a number of small, light scratches and a very slight warp that is guaranteed not to affect play.  Its labels are in excellent condition with a few small scuffs and a touch of spindle wear, but no major blemishes to detract from its display appeal.
   To protect your investment, this 45 - as with all vinyl purchased at The Great Escape Online - will be placed in a new plastic outer sleeve prior to packing and shipping.
