Jacqueline Du Pre 'Favourite Cello Concertos' 2x12' Vinyl LP Box Set-HMV
Jacqueline Du Pre Favourite Cello Concertos
EMI/HMV SLS 895 -DECCA STEREO SLS 895 black and white stamp
A three stereo vinyl LP set in its hinged box complete with eight page booklet and poly inner sleeves. These Jacqueline recordings were made between 1965 and 1971.
Nice copy of this sought after boxed set
In very good condition, no scratching or signs of play on the LPs and in original EMI polythene inner sleeves. The vinyl is ex or even above.
The booklet has some light thumbing but otherwise also in excellent condition, and has two beautiful b/w shots of Jacqueline.
The box is complete but has some obvious damage/scuffing to the side, and to the bottom of the spine even a bit of the green titling chipped away from some ancient gouge, which is the worst of it. The top right hand corner of the box to the right of Jacqueline's head also shows a little wear and crinklement from another ancient bash. But the box is firmly intact and whole, and the cover remains a complete beauty. See pics.
