A BBC 1977 Transcription 2LP Disc set
This is the one chance to hear Jacqueline's story told in her own words rather than the sensationalized versions in books and film. The BBC produced this two hour program in 1977 with Jacqueline's full participation and approval. It also features commentary from important people in her life and career such as Daniel Barenboim, Sir John Barbirolli, and William Pleeth, plus many key musical performances from this legendary performer's recorded legacy.
Do not let this one slip by, as they are not appearing for sale with any expected regularity at all.
The second program in the set is a "Portrait of the distinguished conductor Otto Klemperer" (see programme notes below)
Condition is Near Mint for all LP sides and all contents. The set appears to have been played once and never touched again in the nearly 40 years since broadcast.
