- All of our used records are play-graded and come in a protective outer-sleeve.
CONDITION DETAILS Vinyl plays with occasional light-crackles (play-graded). Cover looks great; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing and surface impressions (front/back); tiny surface abrasions on front; slight discoloration with darker discoloration spots on back. Inner-sleeve is original (generic white); bottom seam partially split. Spine is easy-to-read (text printed off-center) with mild-wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Split near center of bottom-edge. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. 1964 stereo pressing with blue crown-less label and alternate cover art. (Not a cut-out.)
ABOUT THE RECORD Please, Please, Please is the debut studio album by the Famous Flames under the billing "James Brown and His Famous Flames", featuring the first album of recordings during Brown's long career. It includes the group's first two hit singles, the title track and Try Me (R&B No. 1, Pop No. 48), along with all the non-charting singles and b-sides he had recorded up to the time of the album's release.
