Description

James Brown THINK LP. King 983 MONO crownless KING label. Original. Total R&B CLASSIC! One of the BEST early James Brown albums. So rare to find in it's original cover. The version that has James' picture repeated across it is way more common than this 1st cover. The Cover is BEAUTIFUL. Nice tight spine and clean, glossy front. the back has very minimal surface wear in the middle and some light yellowing on the edges. There is NO WRITING whatsoever anywhere on this LP, very hard to find with no pen or markings or stampings!The front has NO ringwear! just a tiny bit of wear on the top of the front cover. It does have top and bottom seam splits that have several pieces of clear tape repairing them, 2 on top , 7 on the bottom. The tape is a mend job from the previous owner and while unfortunate, it doesn't take to much away from the amazing shape of this rare cover. The LP is on a Black crownless KING label. Side A has lots of spindle marks and a small gouge on the label. This should be visable in the picture. Side 2 has pretty clean labels. The vinyl has lots of hairline surface marks all over both sides. NO deep scratches , cracks or defects. You can't feel any scratches with your finger. It sounds AMAZING. just a tiny bit of background noise. Plays through with no skips or pops or ticks. Incredible full, buttery rich sound! Old king vinyl is amazing. This is a rarely offered record, don't pass up this great album in it's original cover!VG+/VG (plays STRONG VG+) oh yeah, it's still got the price tag from WOOLWORTHS on the inside of the jacket!!!
