Description

This is an acoustic recording of James P. Johnson's Harmony Eight playing "Dear Old Southland" and "Bandana Days". It's a 78 rpm record on the Okeh label, number 4504.
E- to E-- condition. There is virtually no scuffing. There is no greying. One small scratch lasting 4 grooves that is audible. There are no cracks or chips.
James P Johnson was a pioneer of stride piano, and this record is hard-to-find, especially in this condition. It was recorded in 1921.
