Up for sale is an incredible, industry-only archival promotional copy of Janet Jackson's iconic lead single "That's The Way Love Goes" (Catalog: Y-12661). Sourced directly from the private collection of a former professional radio broadcaster, this listing includes a one-of-a-kind piece of music industry history: the original promotional mailing letter sent directly to DJs and station mixers back in April of 1993.

The Letter Details:

  • The Stationery: Printed on official, vintage Virgin Records letterhead featuring the classic blue triangle logo.

  • The Content: Written and signed by the late, legendary Rick Squillante, the pioneering Texas Starck Club DJ who served as the influential Head of Virgin Records' Dance Music Department in New York during the 1990s club boom.

  • The Text: The letter formally introduces these brand new remixes and coordinates the national club rollout, specifically instructing DJs: "do not report the track until the week of April 3rd."

  • The Easter Egg Signature: Showcasing his famous dry and witty sense of humor, Rick signed the letter with his actual signature, followed by his typed full name and his iconic personal title punchline.
