Description

This is the rare original pressing of the Jazz Contemporaries “Reasons in Tonality” on the first labels of Strata-East SES 1972-2.  The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a beautiful luster; inaudible superficial swirls from a substitute inner sleeve.  The original early cover with label images on the back is still in shrink wrap; slight ½” ding at the lower right corner.  Personnel include Clifford Jordan, George Coleman, Julius Watkins, Harold Mabern, Larry Ridley, and Keno Duke.  $100.00
