Description

Thelonious Monk, The Unique, on Prestige 209.  Mono issue with deep groove and no "Inc." after "Bill Grauer Productions."  Excellent vinyl has full shine, no spindle marks.  VG+ condition with some light scratches, an occasional tick (there are a couple on Memories of You) as well as some marks consistent with a record that has been stored in its old "rice paper" sleeve for years.  These do not sound, and the sleeve has been replaced with a new paper one.  Moderate wear to front cover, and bottom seam; light wear to rear.  No writing, tears, holes, etc.  A nice copy.

GRADING
M-  A flawless or nearly flawless record that appears to have seen little or no play.
VG+  Full gloss, some light marks.  A very, very attractive record that has seen limited play and has been well cared for.
VG   More marks and scratches, will have some surface noise, but still a playable record.  Scratches may be fairly numerous, but will be light.
VG-  Lots of marks and scratches but no gouges or major problems.
G+ and G  Heavy wear and marks, plays through okay.
