Jean Ritchie "Songs From Kentucky" Rare, early 50's, Folk Record Album featuring Songs and Ballads from rural Kentucky. Truly a historic, important figure in American Music, Jean Ritchie was recorded with her Family in the 1930's by Alan Lomax & went on to become a Fullbright Scholar and "The Mother of Folk". 17 early Tunes on this scarce LP include ..."Old Joe Clark" / "One Morning In May" / "Hush Little Baby" / "Barbry Ellen" ...many more (see picture for listing).
