Jefferson Airplane Takes Off MONO dynagroove US press LPM-3584 RE 1966 VG+/G+
This is a rare MONO USA pressing of Jefferson Airplane's debut album.
The vinyl plays through very well with a small amount of surface noise however this doesn't detract from the music in any way.
The mono sound is butter-smooth - Marty and Signe's singing on 'Let's Get Together' is sublime.
The sleeve is flawed in that it has the previous owner's name in huge letters on the back (I actually think it adds historical authenticity!) and some of the fragile paper has lifted off at the bottom of the back of the sleeve (probably from being stored for a period of time) however the bulk of the writing is clear and visible.
Altogether this is a brilliant rare example of an authentic and original LP made much rarer by being mono.
