Hello everyone,
I'm selling 3 Jethro Tull albums. The two 'This Was' albums share just the one sleeve, the stereo cover. Details and condition are listed below with disc condition first and sleeve second.
Island ILPS 9085 Stereo Jethro Tull This Was Side A A few light lines and minor imperfections. One proper scratch [ 3 light clicks between tracks 4 & 5 and 4 or 5 very light clicks during track 5, only . Otherwise, a lovely silent background. Side B
Lovely silent background. The lightest of crackle on the dead wax run-in and run-out. VG + / EXC -
Island ILP 985 Mono Jethro Tull This Was 1st edition. Side A A number of fine lines, light scratches and minor imperfections. An occasional very, very light crackle or an odd light tic but not on every track. Side B A very, very, very occasional light
tic but not on all tracks. Apart from the aforementioned faults the record plays with a nice quiet background. Audibly, Exc - - but visualy, VG -. Overall I think VG is fair. VG / EXC -

This small sample of Jethro Tull is a great example for hearing a classic British rock band. Although often described as a folk rock band, their first album shows here what a blues rock band should sound like. Despite the visual flaws the audio is fabulous and a
chance to pick up three recordings at fine price.
The 3 records have been played all through to listen for audio imperfections.
The discs has been placed in plain white inners.

The discs have been cleaned on a Pristine Vinyl ' ViVac ' record cleaner. An excellent machine.
I play my records through all valve amplification and a Hana SL cartridge and Shibata stylus. This combination is very sympathetic towards listening to LPs as it gives an inky black background and it is fully recommended.
I will place the records in anti-static liners and the outer sleeves in good quality poly outer sleeves.
