Issue: The original DCC Jethro Tull "Original Masters" LP, all analogue on premium 12" 180g audiophile virgin vinyl, issued in 1997 and LONG out of print

 

Vinyl Grade: sealed / factory new

Cover Grade:  Near Mint and still sealed, with the gold foil DCC sticker on the front plastic and the gold foil Limited Edition # 1604 on the back plastic.

Notes: Unlike most “Greatest Hits” compilation albums on almost any other label, DCC did NOT use the 2nd or 3rd generation dubs or the previously assembled “greatest hits” tapes.  Hoffman took the time and effort to locate and use the original stereo master tape for each individual track.  That kind of attention to detail and quality of effort is almost never seen in the music industry, but DCC did it right. 

Many of the increasingly rare DCC reissues (both on vinyl and gold cd) are the finest and definitive examples available of a particular album, and this one is certainly no exception.

Another masterpiece from the old DCC label, from the original master tapes, all-analogue mastering chain.  It doesn't get any better, and this sealed example is in top condition.

Packaging: The sealed album will be placed in a clear outer protective sleeve, then sandwiched between two large cardboard stiffener pads and carefully taped together.  I have used this method for many years to practically eliminate seam splits on sealed LPs.  The album is then packaged with bubble-wrap and Styrofoam peanuts in an oversize box.  I know what it is like to receive poorly packaged records, you will not have that experience with me!

Tracking: You should automatically receive your Tracking Number by email when the Shipping Label is printed.
