Description
Jethro Tull's second album: This Was. 12" stereo LP that I bought in 1969 and have loved and looked after since then. It has the pink label with the orange and black eye logo of Island records, Nr ILPS 9103. Disc condition is very good. It has been played many times, but not since about 1980, and it does have some light marks on the surface, but none that impairs the playing condition (checked last month) which remains very good.
The label condition is excellent and the disc has been kept in a non-original polylined sleeve for maximum protection.
The disc plays beautifully and the sound has not deteriorated over the ensuing 45 years.
The record sleeve front and inside is in excellent condition, and the spine is very good and clearly readable. The only blemish is on the back cover where there are some finger marks and a very slight mark (hardly visible) where a sticker was carelessly removed. It is to the left of the ILPS Stereo 9103 text in top right hand corner, and is faithfully represented in the back cover photo so you can see how little it shows.
