Description
Mega rare original LP of Jimmy Smith - House Party (Blue Note 4002 - mono) Early 1960s blue and white labels with New York USA address on one side and 63rd St. NYC address on the other, RVG and ear on both sides - NOT a current re-issue! Smith's early date for Blue Note also features Lee Morgan, Tina Brooks, Kenny Burrell, Art Blakey and many other Blue Note greats in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in solid VG+ condition with some marks that may make a bit of noise and with much if not most of the original shine - not for the audiophile, but certainly not trashed either - actually really nice for one of these, but you will hear a bit of noise. The cover has some general age/shelf wear and a small rubber stamp on the back liner (old), but NO splits, NO tape, NO writing, NO stickers. Not perfect, but a solid copy of a rare classic!
