Description


Mega Rare LP of Jimmy Smith - A Date with Jimmy Smith Vol 2 (Blue Note 1548 - mono)  Blue and white labels with 63rd St address, Deep Groove, RVG and ear on both sides. (no trademark R on either side)  The legendary Jimmy Smith along with Lou Donaldson, Donald Byrd, Hank Mobley, Eddie McFadden and Art Blakey in a rare Blue Note classic that no serious jazz collector can be without. 


The LP is in VG+ condition with marks that will make some noise and with much if not most of the original shine  - not for the audiophile, but not trashed either - still, you will hear some noise.   The cover is in VG+ condition with some general age/shelf wear and a small pen mark on the front cover, but NO splits, NO tape, NO stickers, NO stamps.  NOT perfect, but a rare copy of a rare Blue Note.


The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world).

Mailing costs have gone up.  Postal rates have increased dramatically, the cost of record mailers has increased and e-bay now charges a fee for mailing - in addition to Paypal’s fees on mailing payments.   I have done what I can to keep mailing costs down, but I have no control over these increases.

International mailing costs:   International overseas mailing (Europe, Japan, Asia etc…) for one LP would be $29.00.  This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on mailing, Paypal fees on mailing as well as mailers and packing materials.   One LP to Canada would be $20.00

US mailing costs:  Media mail rate as calculated to a U.S. address.  This reflects increases in postage costs, e-bay fees on mailing, Paypal fees on mailing as well as the cost of mailers and packing materials.
