Description

Joe Harriott+Amancio D'Silva " Hum Dono" SCX 6354 1969 RARE This Album was featured in Record Collector magazine in 2008. The vinyl is in very good condition. There are light scratches on both sides. I have played this a number of times and rate it as very good as per Rare Record Price Guide "The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on cover and rest of items, without any major defect.     Side 1: track 1 is a bit crackly at the begining, and there are a couple of clicks.    Track 2. There are some crackles at the begining and some small clicks. Track 3 Some crackles.    Side 2: Track 1 Half a dozen or so clicks during bass solo. Track 2 Has a couple of clicks. Track3 No scratches or clicks. The faults do not detrect from the beauty of this album, BUT if you are a perfectionist it's not for you!

I am listing this at the price for a mint copy because it's a beautiful album that I love listening to and brings back memories of my dad so £400 is the least I will part with it for.

My father gave me these records when he became ill, he had a collection of 4,000+ albums. Many of them have not been played others rarely.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ALL THE RECORD COVERS HAVE NUMBERED STICKERS ON THE TWO FRONT AND BACK CORNERS...THESE CAN BE REMOVED WITH CARE.

I USE THE SAME GRADING SYSTEM AS RECORD COLLECTOR RARE RECORD PRICE GUIDE:

MINT: Record itself is in brand new condition with no surface markes or deterioration in sound quality. The over and any extra items such as the lyric sheet are in perfrect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have some creasing/slight wear.

VERY GOOD (VG):The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on cover and rest of items, without any major defect.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding , scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.

PLEASE NOTE:-

1) ALL RECORDS WITH SCRATCHES/MARKS HAVE BEEN PLAYED TO DETERMINE THE SOUND QUALITY, AND NOTES WILL BE ADDED TO THE LISTING.

2) ALL RECORDS ARE SENT IN HIGH QUALITY LP MAILERS, WITH 2 STIFFNERS AND THE RECORD REMOVED FROM THE SLEEVE AND PLACED IN PLASTIC SLEEVE. I GET PROOF OF POSTING FOR EACH LP SENT.

3) INSURANCE IS AVAILABLE AND RECOMMENDED FOR AIRMAIL. (I ONLY CHARGE POST OFFICE FEES AS EXTRA)

 Thank You!

  Namaste
