Joey Dee & The Starliters   "Shout Part 1"   The Ad Libs "The Boy From New York City"

This is a US vinyl 10 inch single on Rhino Jukebox Classics # 9.    It plays at 78 RPM.         It comes in a plain yellow sleeve.    Both songs were hits : "Shout Part 1' reached # 6 on 3/31/62 and 'The Boy From New York City' reached # 8 on 2/6/65.

Did you know that Jimi Hendrix was a member of Joey Dee & the Starliters in November 1965 !!

Condition :   VG+  

Since I can't play 78's, this is visually graded : VG+.     The labels are clean with no spindle marks.   

About Me :

I started collecting records in 1966.       I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.          I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.     And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.

Packaging :

I take great care during packaging and do each one personally.      I use hand cut cardboard, which I get from a trucking company.   (It's so thick that you will save it and use it again.)      Each peice is 1/2 inch thick and together they are very stronge.       I always remove the record from the picture sleeve and tape them inside a clear plastic record sleeve.      All packages are marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.   

Postage : 

You have to pay for the postage.   So,  I pre-weigh each package and you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.       This record will weigh 16 ounces when ready to ship.  US winners can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    I will send it through Paypal and you will get an email with the tracking number.    Overseas buyers must use First Class Mail International.     After I send it, I will send you an email with the date I mailed it and the US customs number.         (Buyers from Italy will assume all risks for shipping to your country.)       I will send your record as soon as you pay. (same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM, Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine postage if you win more than one record.    Please wait for my invoice for all of your winnings in one package.
