Johanna Martzy plays Schubert Sonatina no 1 in D major OP.137 & Sonatina no 2 in A minor OP 137 Jean Antonietti - Piano Angel 35364 
The LP is in good to very good condition. The recorded sound is really excellent, but there is quite a lot of static & pops/ticks. I would say that there is not what I would call surface noise (noise due to wear) so I think that once cleaned professionally the record will improve considerably. The cover is in VG+ condition.
This LP has the same issue as the other Johanna Martzy LP up for auction. There are a lot of pop/ticks on this record and static noise, but it is still very enjoyable to listen to. I'm convinced that it really needs to be cleaned professionally , as there doesn't appear to be any real surface noise due to excess wear, so it should improve considerably once cleaned professionally. As with the other record, the recorded sound is quite excellent, astonishingly so. I have the impression this is really quite an old recording yet the the balance between the instruments is beautiful and true, and the sound is warm. 
The performances are also beautiful. I know little about Johanna Martzy but this was a joy to listen to from beginning to end. There is no pullout insert so I don't know which volume this is from the set of 3, but I am guessing it is volume 1.
This LP comes from a large collection of records owned by a retired music professor that I am selling on his behalf. There are some gems in the collection which I will post for auction soon. I do no grade the records visually, I listen to them in their entirety and try to give as accurate description of the condition as I can.
