John Coltrane A Love Supreme 1965 UK HMV Stereo
UK 1st pressing VG+/VG
Sleeve has some creasing, corner bumps, discolouration and a few marks on the back (see pictures). The spine is intact although the laminate is fragile at the top. Original inner liner - but it is coming unstuck on one side.
Play tested on my system (Rega RP10, Luxman 550uX II, Kef R3s) – very strong and clear – superb sounding pressing.
A1 - light surface noise at the beginning of A1; light surface noise between tracks.
A2 - light surface noise at start of A2; 1 light click at the start of Tyner’s solo; 1 light click in Coltrane’s solo. Light surface noise in runout.
B1 - intermittent surface noise during Elvin’s intro; 1 click during Tyner’s solo; 3 clicks during Coltrane’s solo; intermittent surface noise throughout the bass solo.
B2 - 6 intermittent clicks during first few minutes and a few more towards the end. Light surface noise in runout.
All vinyl is from my own collection and is graded visually using the Discogs/Goldmine Standard. Vinyl will be removed from outer sleeve and placed in resealable plastic sleeve.
This will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Royal Mail will collect from me and then delivery is usually the next day.
